Daily Shuttle Schedule
Our Department offers a “Daily Scheduled Shuttle”, without charge to various locations & to doctor appointments daily, providing a total of 16-shuttles weekly to area doctors and to various shopping centers in the local surrounding area. Please call the Transportation Department if you would like assistance on time frames and which shuttle would be suitable for your scheduled doctor appointment, or if you should need wheelchair assistance from your home. Additionally, escort assistance is available.
Transportation Schedules are located at the Front Desk and in the Transportation Department for your reference . Please keep in mind that the shuttle is available for your convenience TUESDAY through FRIDAY. The Transportation Department is closed on Mondays. Remember, transportation to MEDICAL APPOINTMENTS depart daily for your convenience and are top priority. If a particular location is not listed and you are unsure the shuttle will transport you, please call the Transportation Department at ext. 2060 or 2075.
Upon boarding the shuttle in front of the commons area, it is important to notify the driver of your destination. If you should take other means of transportation to your point of destination but expect to return to the Village via the SHUTTLE you must notify the driver in advance. . . or you will be missed.; **Please keep in mind that the shuttle driver is not allowed to wait for residents at designated stops due to time constraints. You will be dropped off at the designated time and picked up at the designated return time. Also if you are late for your return pick-up you will be missed or picked-up on the next shuttle. If you are late for return pick-up on the last shuttle of the day it is your responsibility to find your own transportation back to AFVW. Please refer to your shuttle schedule before boarding the shuttle bus. Your Cooperation & Understanding in this matter is greatly appreciated.
